This is so bizarre. Now, I know people apparantly make bogus wordpress accounts and randomly link images to get some hits from Google. This is horrendously annoying, but I understand it and nowadays I filter them away.

So, I look at my stats, wow, a peak of 448 hits on one day... And find out only 29 of them (6%!) are actual visitors. The rest is all hotlinking one way or the other. With two odd sites in particular. Now I don't mind others making an effort to share my work, but please link to the gallery page in question and keep your links up to date.

I've disabled hotlinking the usual method and made some redirects for people who use urls from 5 years ago (a surprisingly high amount). Finally I can see statistics that don't look like nonsense anymore.

Some good little newsies.

• There are redirects for old to new urls (frozen-youth to /stories/frozen-youth for example)
• Comments work famously.
• People can register again, have a profile (with some minor details), and see the last comments they haven't replied on yet. See the top of the site!
• Contact form is back!
• So is my logo!
• And my good spirits...
