Dragging - Actually the 8-ball is not dragging Lucy up there, but the other way around.

However, Lucy is losing his balance in the last frame. (leaning with his foot on the bookshelf)

I see - oh, one of lucy's foot is on the bookshelf. The shadow of lucy really not look like it's represent it.
