JetlagI know that you're tired, unwilling to sleep

I know that you're tired, unwilling to sleep
The clock or your body is wrong
The hands make a promise that your body can't keep
But it won't be a problem for long

So you listen to me and try to relax
Words flowing deeper once more
It helps for a moment, the silence just acts
You know that you will be sore

But it's a discomfort grudgingly bared
The price for the travel abroad
And with the words that are heartily shared
The tension will become thawed

So you are tired and willing to sleep
The body more stubborn than you
With a smile on your lips your mind takes a leap
And embraces the dreamland so true
