UncoloredA soft white blanket over all

A soft white blanket over all
Sprinkled trees and bushes too
A darker sky with a few stars
A silence and no things to do

I sit here looking inside out
And seeing all the colors fade
To a wondrous gentle color scheme
Of white and blue and a hint of jade

An unsprung tear flows from my eyes
Knowing that it will be gone
But this moment, now, is perfect
And I feel that I do belong

A soft white blanket over all
My eyes, my soul and mind
It makes me happy just to see
All these wonders that I find
